Cricket Blast

Cricket Blast is Cricket Australia's official entry point to the game — and the Panthers are proud to run it at Eildon Park for kids aged 5 to 7.

Sessions run for around 45 minutes and are built entirely around fun: small games and activities that sneak the fundamentals of batting, bowling, throwing and catching into play. There is no competition, no scoreboard pressure, and no expensive kit list — all equipment is provided.

The program runs from November to February, making the most of the summer. For many Panthers, Cricket Blast is the first step on a journey that runs through our junior age groups and into senior cricket — but mostly, it is just a great way for little kids to fall in love with the game.

Parents are welcome to stay, watch, and meet other local families — Cricket Blast mornings are a lovely community fixture in their own right.
