Veterans Cricket

Cricket does not have to stop when the body starts negotiating. Our veterans program gives experienced players the chance to keep playing competitive cricket with the intensity dialled to comfortable.

We field three veterans sides across two competitions: FTGDCA Veterans on Sundays, and RDCA T20 cricket on Tuesday nights. Formats are shorter and rules are adapted for veterans cricket, so the games stay genuinely competitive without demanding a full day in the field.

The veterans group is one of the most social parts of the club — many played their senior cricket at Eildon Park and never really left, while others have joined from other clubs for one more chapter. If you have not picked up a bat in a decade, that is no barrier; all abilities are genuinely welcome.
